BELLMORE, NY, May 13, 2011 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Mrs. Linda Amato, President of Believable Alternatives, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in counseling.

Throughout her career as a counselor, Mrs. Amato has come to learn that everyone wants to be loved for who they are. She established her private practice, Believable Alternatives, to help individuals recognize that they have the power to transform and move forward once they learn to love themselves as they are. She accomplishes this through holistic health and nutritional counseling, Reiki healing services, and lifestyle coaching. By providing her clients with continued support, love and encouragement, Mrs. Amato illustrates how an alternative approach to life is beneficial.

Mrs. Amato is the author of "Making Believers: Connect to the Light Within." Released in April 2010 by Infinity Publishing, the novel tells the story of the bond of love between a mother and daughter who discover their purpose in life and the limitless potential of unconditional love. The book's themes parallel Mrs. Amato's goal to empower individuals to be true to themselves and love others in order to find happiness.

A certified holistic health counselor and traditional Reiki Master, Mrs. Amato was accredited by The American Association of Drugless Practitioners in 2005. She received a Master of Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics three years later. Her professional affiliations include the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, The Kabbalah Centre, A Course in Miracles, and Science of Mind. In addition to writing more books, Mrs. Amato hopes to travel the world in the future to advocate the benefits of her services.
